Latest WinSol™ Release Adds Credit Card Processing and Email Capabilities!

MARKHAM, March 3, 2003 — PointForce announces today the release of new payment processing and email capabilities in its latest enterprise application of PointForce WinSol™ 4.0.2. This now offers WinSol™ users enhanced control mechanisms for credit card payment processing. New email capabilities through Forms eXpress allow the electronic delivery of invoices, statements and purchase orders in the industry standard pdf format.

Additional package enhancements include new Weekly Sales files, Product Availability Forecast Display and date restrictions for receipts accrual reporting. This new version of WinSol™ supercedes WinSol™ 4.0.0. All PointForce 4.0 clients will be given complimentary upgrades to the latest version of this enterprise application.

    • Ability to manage pre-authorization directly through Order Entry or the new centralized Payment Processing Program
    • Secure payment processing prior to shipping through pre-authorization
    • Credit card numbers are kept secure in a single encrypted file
    • All payment methods and transaction details are printed on the Payment Processing register for reference and audit purposes
    • Customer default payment method can be set
    • Both a manual and automated payment processing methodology are offered
    • Automated payment processing integrated with Caledon Payment Processing Service
  • Forms eXpress
    • Batch email POs, invoices and statements
    • Customer email address can be defaulted
    • Ad-hoc emailing of order confirmations, invoices, statements, POs and reports is available
    • Add pdf attachments to ad-hoc emails
  • Product Availability Forecast Display
    • Ability to project when a product will be available for shipment
    • Minimize or eliminate potential inventory shortfalls
    • Item availability projection derived from open orders including future dated orders with in-transit and on purchase order values
    • Items are highlighted when not available to fill customer's expected delivery dates
  • Weekly Sales Files
    • Ability to define starting and ending dates for each week in the year
    • Weeks will accumulate the sales dollars and units within the defined time frame
    • Includes definitions for both the Regular and Grower's calendars
    • Can be accessed for full analysis using Crystal Reports
