Leader in the Gourmet Gift Market to Implement PointForce Software to Manage Over 20,000 Orders per Year

TECSYS PointForce Software to Deliver Unprecedented Information Access

MONTREAL, March 30, 2004 — TECSYS Inc. (TSE: TCS), a leading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software provider, announced today that its PointForce business unit has signed an agreement with Gourmet du Village™ to implement its distribution application suite. The PointForce software will provide Gourmet du Village with the edge in customer satisfaction and strategic processes to meet and exceed the company's complex distribution and customer requirements.

Gourmet du Village sells over 400 varieties of gourmet gift items to independent and retail outlets throughout the US and Canada. The company also manufactures a wide range of gourmet food products in Quebec. With double-digit annual growth, Gourmet du Village was facing a challenge in keeping up with the expanding orders from the US. The new FDA reporting and tracking requirements were another reason the company needed to find a solution able to handle its reporting needs.
